OCARC HOLIDAY PARTY

This year's Holiday Party was held at Mimi's Café 17231 17th St. Tustin, CA 92780 (714) 544-5522. About 30 members gathered at 6 PM fo enjoy drinks and one of three choices for dinner:

The food seemed to have been really enjoyed. After dinner Nicholas - AF6CF, the outgoing President, turned over the gavel to Tim - N6GP. Nicholas also awarded the Good of the Club award to (TBA). Later, President Elect Tim passed out badges to the new Board and gave a short speech ending with singing White Christmas a cappella. Chip - K7JA then announced that Tim's birthday was imminent and sang Las Mañanitas also a cappella. (Where was Lee Evans with his guitar or Harmonica?)

Prizes were then awarded; first the ladies prizes (all the ladies went home a winner!); then the ham prizes, including four HRO gift certificates, various Arduino and RasberryPi items, an OCARC 24-hr clock, hats and a mystery old-timers gift which turned out to be an Ameco VFO-621.
