OCARC FD SITE 2009

This year the OCARC held Field Day on the school grounds of Walter Knott School in Buena Park. The FD site was just to the West of the Knott's Berry Farm theme park and on the South-side of La Palma Ave.

The Walter Knott School made an excellant FD site.  Plenty of open room and nice shade trees and picnic tables near the "chuck wagon". The school grounds are close enough to Knott's Berry Farm that we could hear the screams of the roller-coaster ride throughout the day and evening.

OCARC Field Day events do not just happen...they take planning. Our Field Day Chairman, "General Paul" W6GMU,  is reviewing final FD plans at the June club meeting with Dino-KX6D shown in the background.
