future Angel game, and Bob said that dropping glasses were stopped wid a retainer cord
attached to the stems, cord gets caught, Bob rips stem off glasses! IXN said that the Colorado River Delta is the only
natural dam that keeps the Sea of Cortez from flooding the Imperial Valley, and HHC told
YCJ to take his tornado hat when he attends the Dayton Hamvention! All OPs experienced high QRN, and IXN cudnt
hear CF. ACT heard AF6C on both lower &
upper sidebands tonite, snf HK talked abt racing. HC
updated OPs on Mikes antenna, wid Mike placing a 2nd order for errant
parts. YCJ will leave Thursday morning for

on 10m tonite, is enjoying gud sigs on 2m. Back
from Death Valley, FKX will be off on a geology trip to Anza Borrego State Park come
Saturday
IXN & FKX briefly discussed the Colorado River Delta which separates the
Sea of Cortez from the Imperial Valley. HHC
alerted AF6C to a frequency shift problem in the VHF rig on 10m, and Bob got the AEA
Antenna Complex Impedance Analyzer (a retirement present?) working. KR6J flew in and flew out. HHC asked VDP to get a list of equipment to be
sold, up on the website to give Club members 1st chance to purchase it

will have further eye surgery in the near future.

time in the doctors office today, mentioned that the bouganville bush is growing
back big time, and tells IXN that his sigs are OK. IXN
checked in wid weak sigs showing on the ant. tuner
Slight adjustments removed the
problem. HHC noted that IXNs sigs were
weaker tonite!...And HHC was busy experimenting wid DATV tonite. If AF6CF tried to check in, OPs cud not pull him
out of the QRN!

And VDP also worked 3 FISTS on 40m. N8UZE, Dee, checked into Net, being in So. CA. for
at least 6 months
Using 40W into a roll up j-pole, most OPs cud not hear Dees
sigs!...Dee was located at Baranca Redhill,
and expressed an interest in attending Field Day! HHC
was using the HT fer check-in tonite. The 2
meter rig was tied up wid the ongoing DATV experiment

still notices weird squiggles on AF6Cs wave pattern, and Ken prepares to put YCJs
pix from the Dayton Hamvention up on the Club website. IXN has steady S7 sigs on AF6C Q5
the whole way. And Bob announces that the gravitational relativity theory seems to pervade
the Universe as far as we can see. AF6C says
Club generator must be checked out fer Field Day soon, and Bob said that the ARRL Audio
News will soon be back in session. YCJ got
back from the Dayton Hamvention wid great pix of equipment, etc., and Ken just got back
from an Angels vs Blue

flew in and flew out, and VDP said that we need CW operators for Field Day

FKX enjoyed the SCE program on safety around high power lines last Fri.
