Greg also reminds OPs that Club Bfast is now 2nd Saturday of the month! ATB hopes to have the Moseley up by next week…XYL in shack…dinner ready…ATB is hungry! IXN is once again embroiled in taxes, and, Bob has water in his left ear. JTT has been delayed by heavy rain from the house repair & antenna project at the house in Idyllwild…That will change when his son gets back home. YHX cudn,t get a voltage regulator for his solar panels at HRO…So Corey went to E-BAY. OML found a plastic bottom broken on a Talking Book machine today…(must have been dropped!) OML and AF6C worked on tape recorders and Talking Book machines at Braille Institute today, then OML retreated to the attic to string some TV cable. AF6C said that Paul, GMU, might join the ‘Triumvirate’ at Braile Institute. HHC got pix of the Amsterdam Is. DXpedition from Arnie, N6HC, and Ken bought a higher power PC frm EBAY to improve DATV reception, and, Ken’s cold is much better. IXN’s hearing was restored after ear wax removal! OML has successfully strung new TV line in the attic, and AF6C & OML serviced 7 old and 4 new machines at Braille today…Tnx, guys! JTT & son still work on the rental in Pine Cove, and, Sam has the 10m antenna complete and ready for mounting. Wayne Overbeck will be the speaker at Club meeting…Ken and British hams continue to bring the price of DATV boards down for U.S. hams. AF6C, catching up on business, left Braille Institute repairs to OML and DLA today. IXN had trouble hearing MEC tonite, but AF6C said he has Clem’s old rig in the garage ready to go. ATB is operating on the Moseley antenna now wid gud sigs, S7 at IXN’s QTH, and ATB says he hears Clem now. And YHX uses the laptop to help solve 6 homework problems. IXN reads two blurps from ‘Serius Astronomer’ concerning civilian entry into the space race, and, a deep freeze experiment in quantum mechanics to be deployed to the ISS in the near future.

And OXD will join Sam at the end of April for his cataract operation. IXN had his left eye done abt 2 yrs ago…The right eye isn’t ready yet! OML said OPs serviced 11 new Reading Machines and 3 old ones today at Braille Institute… TNX, GUYS! DNR has been checking into a Net on 10m, and UG, along wid IXN, has been working on the rose bushes. WHV checked in agn wid 5/9 sigs from Northridge. Robb, KE6FUZ, checked into Net from Anaheim. We hope that WHV and FUZ won’t be strangers to future Nets!
WZE/AF6C checked in W6ATB, W6HHC, KJ6OML, WB6IXN, KE6YHX, and VK6LC(Mal) in Australia! ATB and IXN cudn’t copy Mal who was down in the QRN, but AF6C copied Mal FB on the beam ant. HHC reported on a FB Baker-to-Vegas Run by the OPD, cutting a ½ hour off their former run! AF6C & OML cleaned off the shelf at Braille Institute today…Tnx, guys! AF6C said the OPD ended up 35th overall in the Baker-to-Vegas Run, but 2nd in their Division. Mal, located in western Australia near Perth will soon be coming to the Los Angeles area, then across the US continuing into South America…JOIN US ON THE 10m NET…DX IS PICKING UP!! IXN will give Santa Ana’s Baker-to-Vegas report at a later date. And YHX works hard on a 6-part homework problem for school.

Also, ATB plans to put up a 2m beam antenna. WHV plans a 2 week vacation in April beginning April 22. YHX & IXN briefly discuss Corey’s homework for school…IXN remembers those days only too well!
