AF6C’s sister returns to vy bad snow conditions to he home in the Northeast…She’s having deep snow plowed out of the driveway! And AF6C & HHC discussed Baker-to-Vegas preparations earlier today, and Bob & Ken will get together to work on Bob’s antenna rotator. YHX & IXN find changing times in Fall and Spring annoying, and Corey installed his new HD standoff. A water break near MEC’s QTH gave Clem some free water for the lawn, and OML, wid a day off from Braille, had a rear window in the auto replaced. JTT was experiencing high QRN, but Sam had 5/9 sigs at IXN’s QTH. IXN spent the morning at the dentist having a bridge replaced and a tooth prepared for a new crown.

FYG reported 65 deg. Outside the shack tonite in Rialto, and Mike got a new 82X rig for 220/144. JTT reports difficulty grounding the mountain station wid vy hard and rocky ground. MEC can still read American Morse Code, works on the spring garden, and hears most OPs well tonite…IXN told OPs abt Boy Scout meetings in the B&O railroad station in Dayton, PA., where they were still using American Morse Code for communications. AF6C makes his 1st contact on 6m wid Greg & Clem, and, Bob must recharge the batteries in his blinking reindeer.

AF6C will soon start slow cooking the corned beef in preparation for an Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage to be enjoyed by HHC and himself tomorrow. And HC said IXN mixed up the Los Angeles Marathon date wid the Baker-to-Vegas Run date. AF6C mentioned a Field Day Meeting tonite at Tom’s QTH, cutting down check-ins to the Net. HC is preparing the back forty hillside for a County Fire inspection, and MEC continues meetings wid the American Morse Code group. IXN & Lee are looking up old steam train memories on the internet, and IXN copies all OPs FB tonite. HC will miss Club meeting Friday…He’ll be speaking at a radio club in San Pedro.

KØVNJ (Don) ‘flew in and flew out’. JKA & XYL visited Sedona and Tempe, AZ, during their mini-vacation. IXN has one crown to go before dental work is done!

MEC was down in the QRN at IXN’s QTH tonite, and HHC alerted all OPs to the Baker-to-Vegas Run this weekend, wid OPs backing up the Orange PD. HHC & AF6C discussed briefly meeting at Dukes and ‘Hercules’ restaurants after Braille meetings, and HHC had all the fruit trees trimmed on the back forty. YHX gave all OPs their sig reports, got a new leaf blower, and a tree full of oranges. AF6C ‘got his ears lowered’ today, has a sore back, and can’t copy KJA tonite. IXN had a tooth crown installed today, and, for 1st time, had his income taxes done professionally. HRT got his ant rotator fixed, and has an out of order computer at present. IXN cudn’t copy JKA tonite who was down in the QRN.

YHX put another rig on line tonight (FB sigs too, Corey). And PKA injured his foot when he stepped on something. FYG reported all seismically quiet up in Rialto wid no high winds at present. KJA reported that the XYL has knee trouble and IXN and KJA discussed glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM benefits.
