MEC reports little, if any, rain wid S3 sigs at NC. OML reported vy quiet at Braille today. YHX reported a few rain drops at the QTH, and, the new air conditioner is working well…Corey still needs more generator repairs.

OML reported ’lil activity at Braille today, and IXN had weak sigs on 10m at MEC’s QTH, and Clem had no copy on FKX tonite. PAD worked Argentina on 10m, Havana, Cuba on 15m, and Mexico on 12m. TRC had 5/9 sigs at NC’s QTH wid the new groundplane ant. FYG reported And Bernardino’s old City Hall was closed, heeding USGS reported threat of a 7+ EQ in the area, and Mike worked Puerto Rico on 10m. AF6N gets some new equipment, and we welcomed Scott, in La Verne (Pomona), KD6ZLV, to the Net. I may have skipped ove W6ATB…I have no notes for Greg, who had 5/9 sigs at NC. ETC checked in on ECHOLINK wid 5/9 sigs near Net’s end.
No formal net, no NC. IXN heard OML, PAD, and YCJ abt 3 by 4 on a very noisy, low signal 10m net tonite. The rest of the net was rag chew.

OML got a speaker phone replaced, and JTT is still dealing wid medical problems in the family, and, IXN gets fined by the IRS. IXN and MEC briefly discuss Indian railroad activy in India, and PAD, on 5 Watts tonite, lights up 7 bars at NC’s QTH tonite! And Phil says that 10, 12, and 15m have been open during daylight hours. FYG reported 2 micro quakes in the Big Bear area, and all has been strangely quiet in Salton Sea region.
No formal Net! OPs were glued to the TV watching the Clinton/Trump debate and comments that followed. IXN noted sigs in the background, but nothing readable in the QRN.

IXN had a S6 noise level tonite but heard all OPs wid 5/9 sigs! YCJ checked in from the bleachers in Dodger Stadium wid the Dodgers losing big time! AF6N got a call from his daughter in Minnesota during the debate and Jim helps grandkids wid school activities. MEC helped NC wid relays to ZLV, and Clem had gud sigs at NC. PAD didn’t watch the debate and Phil didn’t hear most OPs…However Phil reminded us of the Club Auction Friday nite! ATB ‘flew in and flew out’. FYG had Santa Ana winds, a temp. of 74 deg., reminded OPs of the Super Moon next month, and, reminded OPs of the Great Shake-out tomorrow morning around 10:00 am.

OMl serviced only a couple of Talking Books at Braille today, and the Club greatly thanks N7JA, Chip, for auctioneer duties! AF6C is visiting his sister in Massachusetts. IXN warns Ops of a huge frontal system approaching So. CA., MEC attended the Auction, was on the dipole ant. tonite, and was down in the QRN at IXN’s QTH tonite. IXN reported on the frequency of gravity waves, and JTT continues wid medical exams which are cutting into Sam’s radio time!...but Sam got the MFJ 2m ground pane ant. on line. PAD was at the Auction, has a wee bit of static tonite, and doing some DX on 75m! YHX missed the Nets last week…He was calculus testing! Now Corey will be boning up fer the final exam!

JTT got an all clear on medical problems, he hopes, for six months. And PAD has been working some 12, 15, and 17m DX on his comet all-band antenna. REB is wrapping up the son’s water polo season. And FYG reported all was quiet in Rialto at present.
