The OCARC will conduct ARRL Field Day operations at the Huntington Beach Spring View Middle School grounds at 16662 Trudy Lane, Huntington Beach, CA. Setup scheduled to begin on Friday. Operations begin Saturday morning at 1800Z (11 AM PDT).

The July board meeting has been changed due to the conflict with the 4th of July weekend. The board meeting will be held Tuesday July 7th at 6:00 PM at the home of club president Dan - KI6X. A notice has been emailed to all board members with Dan's address.

Orv Beach - W6BI will give the club a presentation on AREDN via Zoom. Orv, who has been licensed since 1967, started messing around with ham radio networking for the past 12 years. He's a retired Linux system administrator, an ARRL Santa Barbara Section Technical Specialist and an AREDN Ambassador.

October 3 is the weekend of the 61st running of the California QSO Party starting at at 1600 hrs Zulu (Saturday 9:00 AM PDT) and continuing for 30 hours until 2200 hrs Zulu (Sunday 3:00 PM PDT). Orange, the smallest of the counties in California, usually give a good showing. Club plans for this event are pending.
