With AF6C, busy on the landline for most of the Net, Corey, KE6YHX, jumped in as NC
for this Nets session. YHX checked in
WB6IXN, W6JTT, W6HHC, and AF6C near Nets end. YHX
& family had an excellent Christmas vacation wid relatives in the Flagstaff while IXN
and Lee did likewise in the San Jacinto Mts. in Garner Valley, CA. IXN thanked YHX for 2m NC duty on Dec. 28. JTT was able to work most of the Dec. 28 10m Net
from his 5,000 ft perch in Idyllwild, CA, including HHC and YHX, to name a couple

& IXN were both in the San Jacinto Mts. HHC
& OPs are beginning to plan communications for Baker-to-Vegas in April.
IXN said we may know if there is a Higgs Particle and Field by March! HHC said that AF6CF discovered a virus infection on
the Club website
All passwords have been changed and the virus removed! AF6C checked into Net after his phone call.

Christmas vacation, and LHA enjoyed one of the family babies who uses excellent sign
language! JTT & OPs discussed possible
changes in military operating frequencies
No directives yet for RACES or the ham
bands! CF is glad the Christmas season is over
Now
Nicholas has to shed the extra pounds he added from all that good food! KR6Js XYL is working on her ham ticket, and
Kenan said CAP might be affected by military band changes.
YHX enjoyed Christmas in Flagstqaff wid family, and, IXN & Lee,
likewise, in the Garner Valley in the San Jacinto Mts.
YHX & IXN both await news on the Higgs particle from the LHC. AE
& UZE got back from their flights to & from Chicago for Christmas where they
enjoyed family
Carl was glad to be back!...They were glad to have experienced only
light snow on the trip.

experienced the quietest 10m Net ever tonight!
N8AE also intends to attend the Sat. morning Club Bfast and Board meeting. N6HC is on tap to give a talk on the Christmas Is.
DXpedition for the March Club meeting, and HC & HHC expound the valuable info. that
can be found on both Hamnation, and, Craigs List, including items you want to sell! HHC said the Club audit was finished last Saturday.
And IXN said there is a chance of rain come Sunday. HC
needs a projector for the March Club Meeting!
N8AE plans to attend the Club Bfast Saturday, and JTT heard all OPs FB tonite! DNR is keeping his head above the water, and
Bob checked into the RACES Net tonite, and DNR has been working mostly 10m wid a lil
time spent on 20m. AF6C checked into Net late
last week after spending time on the landline almost the entire Net

hear KR6J tonite, and Nicholas has replaced the old antenna wid a new dipole ant., and CFF
is experiencing hash on the rig from the power lines!
AE, playing on the computer, expects a light dusting of snow back in
Michigan as Carl prepares tointroduce Winter Field Day to California! JTT discussed an old
WWV Receiver, a donation by a British Patrolman. YHX
discussed DATV wid HHC, and Corey will learn more about soldering connectors to feedline
come Sunday. UX put up a new hex beam antenna,
and congrats to Jeff on picking up his DXCC Certificate last week! Last Sunday, the Sheriff activated RACES for fire
watch, and Kenan was on duty from 10 am until 2 pm

class wid YHX and UX showing interest!...AF6C will check to see if the Red Cross will
permit soldering in their facility. UXs
new antenna is doing well, but his sigs are causing AF interference on a neighbors
audio speakers. All OPs gave Jeff 5/9 sig
reports so UX lowered the power from 100W to 40W still maintaining excellent sig reports! JTTs son, an engineer in the Army Reserve,
will soon deploy to Afghanistan, and Sam continues working on antennas at the Idyllwild
QTH. CJZ, showing interest in soldering, gave
Jeff a gud sig rpt on his new antenna. IXN
gave UX an S6 on his 40W sigs.

mistaking UZEs words HOT TUB for HOSPITAL, momentarily put Carl in the
hospital!...Dee quickly corrected IXNs error. Carl had been our fishing
and was soaking his feet in the HOT TUB! YHX

GEP & UX placing 2nd in the recent Islands On The Air contest! IXN reported gud sigs on all OPs, and HHC reported
4 major solar flares today which interrupted some communications! HHC said the OCARC website rated within the top 15%
in the nation!...Congrats to HHC & AF6C and contributors! AF6CF flew in and flew out. AF6C woke up a lil under the WX this morning
but got better as the day progressed, and Bob felt better yet wid moms negative
chest X-rays!
