Rated 4 KW 120/240 VAC 60 Hz @ 3,600 RPM
Purchased March 24, 1986 from Santa Fe Tooline Supply. Original cost $560.74. Generator has a Briggs & Stratton (eight or ten horsepower) engine. It has electric start, meter panel and circuit breakers. Triple jerrycan fuel system allows for extended operation.
Generator is mounted on a Harbor Freight trailer for towing. Trailer has lights and a spare tire. Trailer has been licensed for the road; registration has recently expired.
Condition:
Unit was used each Field Day from 1986 through 1999 without any serious problems. It was known to be running in June of 2006. Unit has been stored outside, under a tarp since that time. Probably needs some extensive work??
Estimated total running time since new is 350 hours
Engine overhauled around 1994
New battery is needed for electric start
Carburetor needs rebuilding - leaks fuel
Condition of tires is unknown
